On June 23rd the JOY Club will be touring the Duke Energy World of Energy.
From learning how electricity is produced to enjoying a picnic along the picturesque shores of Lake Keowee, the World of Energy offers something for everyone. With three nuclear reactors, Oconee Nuclear Station is one of the nation's largest plants. The Story of Energy offers fun and interactive way to learn about electricity. Visitors will discover how energy is made. Enjoy stunning views of the lake, enjoy a picnic lunch and even take a hike along a nature trail.
Members are asked to bring a picnic lunch. The JOY Club will provide drinks.
There is no cost for the tour.
