The calling of all who serve in the MUSIC MINISTRY at Burnsview Baptist Church is to lead the people of God into His presence every time we worship! Choir members, instrumentalists, worship team members, ensembles, and soloists all have the same goal: helping others to experience the manifest presence of God. Why? Because it is in His presence that lives are changed for eternity. It is in His presence where healing takes place. It is in His presence that we come face to face with God and are confronted with His holiness and our sin. It is in His presence that we experience God's mercy and grace. And it is in His presence where we make choices that affect not only our daily lives, but also our eternal destiny. Therefore, MUSIC MINISTRY plays an important role in what happens each time we gather…and…is considered a high calling!
