Through cooperation with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and other ministry partnerships, Burnsview participates in efforts to strengthen churches, encourage leaders, support church planting, and extend Gospel outreach.

North American missions.

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) helps churches share the Gospel through evangelism, church planting, chaplaincy, and compassion ministry. Send Network supports church planting; Send Relief connects practical care with Gospel witness.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

Burnsview participates in this annual offering to support missionaries across North America. Annie Armstrong devoted her life to encouraging prayer and support for missions; the offering continues that commitment today.

Every dollar given to the offering supports the mission field, including church planting and compassion ministry. Pray for missionaries, read their stories, and ask the office how to designate a gift through Burnsview.

International missions.

Through the International Mission Board (IMB), Southern Baptist churches support missionaries who share the Gospel, make disciples, develop leaders, and plant churches among the nations, including people with little access to the Gospel.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Lottie Moon served as a missionary in China for nearly forty years and called churches to support missions through prayer and giving. Burnsview participates in the Christmas offering that bears her name.

The IMB reports that 100% of gifts to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering directly support overseas missionaries. Learn about their work, pray for their families and communities, and contact the office about participating through Burnsview.

Woman’s Missionary Union

WMU helps believers grow in missions awareness, prayer, giving, and service. Burnsview’s group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 PM in the choir room.
